Yule Brook Catchment Assessment

Summary: Yule Brook is one of the most important sub-catchment of the Swan-Canning estuary, supporting a variety of flora and fauna and providing ecosystem services. However, as the surrounding area becomes heavily industrialized, Yule Brook has been affected by increasing nutrients, which can lead to eutrophication. The final group assignment for ENVT2251 (Environmental Policy and Planning) was to analyse the water flow, spatially and temporally assess the water quality, and discuss the threats and current policies around the issue.
