RESEARCH ANALYST
I'm a research analyst at UWA's Centre for Water and Spatial Science, specializing in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and AI to better understand complex environmental systems and develop sustainable solutions. I developed a passion for nature preservation at a young age, which led me to study environmental science and management at UWA, where I discovered the potential of GIS. Since then, I've deepened my GIS skills and expanded my expertise to integrating AI with spatial analysis. When I'm not working, you will find me bushwalking, volunteering with local landcare groups, or playing the guitar!

As the Membership Officer for Friends of Lake Gwelup, my primary responsibilities include managing our member database and overseeing website membership forms for new applications. This administrative work directly supports our conservation efforts at Lake Gwelup Reserve, an important urban wetland. Other than that, I also attend committee meetings and help out with regular bushcare events.
On the first Saturday of every month, I lead a group of UWA student volunteers and oversee the conversation program as the program coordinator for the Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group (SERAG). We host volunteering events that involve planting, handweeding, and rubbish-collecting to look after the precious marine reserves SERAG manages.
I volunteered as a teacher for a month in a remote school deep in the mountains of Thailand, where children are disadvantaged and pure. I mainly taught them English communication and also raised awareness on enviornmental issues.
During the dry burning season, air pollution is a severe environmental issue in northern Thailand. For a week, I volunteered to help the Royal Forest Department put out wildfires and make fire breaks.
